Oscar 2023: these are the nominees for the Hollywood Academy Awards.
As expected, “Everything Everywhere All at Once”, with 11 nominations, and Ireland’s “The Banshees of Inisherin” and Germany’s “Im Westen nichts Neues” with 9 nominations each, lead the 2023 Oscar nominations.
These were announced at a live event in Los Angeles hosted by actors Allison Williams and Riz Ahmed.
For Latin America, the joy came with nominations for Cuba’s Ana de Armas for Best Actress and for “Argentina, 1985” for Best International Film.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences awards ceremony will be held on Sunday 12 March at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
The 95th ceremony will be hosted by comedian and host Jimmy Kimmel, who hosted in 2017 and 2018.
