Seville Fair 2022: one of the most visited traditions in the Andalusian community.

One of the city’s great festivities, the Seville April Fair, arrives this year 2022 full of novelties after a two-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This is what the new Feria that all Sevillians are waiting for will be like.

The lighting is one of the essential elements of the Seville April Fair. The façade and the streets of the royal palace are dressed in lights to kick off the traditional illumination.

The streets of Seville’s capital will once again be dressed up for the week of the Seville Fair 2022. The initiative was first promoted in 2021, following the cancellation of the fair for the second consecutive year. This year, Seville City Council is maintaining this decision with a view to symbolising the fair atmosphere in the city centre. Thus, the Avenida de la Constitución and other enclaves in the historic centre will be decorated with pennants as part of this ornamentation plan in honour of the Sevillian festival of the Feria de Abril.

Once again this year, the Sevillians are looking forward to wearing their costumes and stepping into the bullring once again. The seven most colourful days of the city arrive this year with small modifications and novelties but with the same essence and joy that characterises these dates.
