One of the most famous and popular markets in Marbella is the one in Nueva Andalucía, located very close to the famous and exclusive Puerto Banús. This market is held every Saturday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm and you can find everything from the best fashion accessories to antiques and rugs, as well as stylish accessories and paintings.

If when you are walking around Marbella you hear someone talking about the “baratillo”, don’t be surprised because they have just mentioned the street market that takes place every Monday from 9am to 2pm in Las Albarizas (the fairgrounds). In this “baratillo” you will have the opportunity to buy everything from clothes and footwear to handbags, costume jewellery and cosmetics, not forgetting fruit and vegetables.
Craft Market in Puerto Banús
The Puerto Banús Craft Market is located every summer in the Plaza Antonio Banderas in Puerto Banús and here you will find an exquisite selection of exhibitors who display an extensive selection of handcrafted articles from all over the world to show and offer culture and tradition to visitors who decide to visit.
Ecological Market
Still without leaving Marbella we have to talk about its ecological market, which takes place on the third Saturday of every month and is located in La Campana. It is one of the most famous markets in the province of Malaga, as far as organic products are concerned. The products offered here come exclusively from the province of Malaga, and are always ecologically produced and sold at a fair price.
La Virginia, Marbella’s social event.
It is one of the most eagerly awaited events in the calendar for lovers of artisan products. But we can only enjoy it twice a year: in spring and at Christmas. Neither the people who stroll through this peculiar flea market, nestled along the winding streets of the urbanisation of La Virginia, nor the prices of the products, have much to do with those of other flea markets in any other city.
A stroll through the streets of the urbanisation La Virginia is like being in an old village, with its cobbled streets, its balconies full of flowers, its little chapel… and there are many people who do not know this marvellous place, which is why it is also a quiet and relaxed place to live.
