Weeks after being one of the stars invited to sing at the celebration of the coronation of King Charles III, and after taking part in the Montreux Jazz Festival, Lionel Richie returned to Spain on Thursday to review his excellent musical career at the Starlite Occident Festival, one of the most important in our country.

The American legend continues to prove that his style and his music, which mixes moments of dance and romanticism – the latter performed, above all, on the piano – are still as popular as they were half a century ago, and not only among his contemporaries, but also among younger generations, all of whom flocked to the packed pavilion, which was sold out with the singer-songwriter.

In the city of Malaga, Richie, who showed himself to be tireless, with energy and sympathy in equal measure – he joked more than once with the audience -, performed the songs that form part of the history of his extensive and renowned discography. He performed songs such as Enless Love, Dancing On The Ceiling, Hello and Say You, Say Me, which the audience chanted in unison.
