These are the music festivals returning to Malaga this summer.
The province of Malaga will host fourteen music festivals this summer in different formats and with a wide variety of styles.
After two years without being able to celebrate any massive event, the most famous music festivals return to the province of Malaga this summer after the elimination of restrictions, with 14 different events of very different styles, such as Oh See or Puro Latino, through Marenostrum or Starlite.
The Marenostrum Festival, born in 2016, is consolidating itself as one of the best festivals on the coast, both for its line-up of artists and its location. Marenostrum Fuengirola kicked off its 2022 edition on 30 April with a concert by Fito & Fitipaldis. Alejandro Sanz is also confirmed. In addition, this festival has been chosen by Rosalía for her performance in the province. The festival will take place from April to September, and ticket prices will depend on the artist and the stage area chosen.
The Oh, see! Festival returns to Malaga on 20 and 21 May 2022. It will take place during the day at the Cortijo de Torres Municipal Auditorium with a capacity reduced to 7,000 people.
After having sold out 2 of the 3 types of season tickets that were put on sale, there are two types of tickets still on sale:
General two-day pass, at a price of €53 plus €5.30 administration fee for adults.
General two-day pass, at a price of €20 plus €2 administration fee for children aged 11 to 17.
Do you want Rakatá? The best event of the season is coming to Malaga, with live performances by Moncho Chavea, Original Elias, Daviles de Novelda, Keen Levy, Nyno Vargas, Barroso y Deseo, Camin La Cebolla y Negro Jari, Antón Cortes, Adrian González, Big Lois and Deikirisy.
The festival will take place on 28 May at 17:00 in the Municipal Auditorium “Cortijo de Torres”.
As part of its extensive concert programme, Marenostrum Fuengirola is hosting the first women’s music festival in southern Spain, the Fulanita Fest, an event to vindicate the power of music made by women. With live music, a welcome party, a women’s football tournament and performances by DJs and a food market (with vegan and gluten free options). The welcome party takes place at Florida Beach in Mijas, on the 27th of May, from 20:00 h to 4:00 h and the concerts of Rigoberta Bandini, Delaporte and María Peláe, on the 28th of May at Marenostrum, at the foot of Sohail Castle.
Starlite Marbella
Starlite is one of the best boutique festivals in Europe, held every year in the Cantera de Nagüeles, a natural amphitheatre surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The unique feature of Starlite is the closeness between the audience and the artists, with more than 50 days of concerts.
Some of the artists so far confirmed for 2022 are: Estopa, Estrella Morente, Jessie J, Ana Torroja, Il Divo, Maluma, Lionel Richie, Ozuna, Andrea Bocelli, Alan Parsons Live Project, Simple Minds, Hombres G, Maluma and Passenger.
The festival will take place during the months of June, July, August and September, and ticket prices will depend on the artist and stage area chosen.
