Visit to the Alcazaba of Malaga

The Alcazaba is a palace-fortress from the period of Muslim rule in Spain. It is a beautiful and well-preserved example of the architecture of that period. Get an audio guide and walk among the lush vegetation, aromatic trees in the gardens and courtyards, while you look at the Muslim pottery in the various rooms. It’s easy to visualise the luxury and comfort in which the residents of the palace lived. Below the palace lie the ruins of a Roman amphitheatre. The hill overlooking the Alcazaba is dominated by the castle of Gibralfaro. In addition, there are many other historical buildings and museums in the surrounding area.
